Halloween
Poppie's Birthday Party - had a picnic and rode a train, which Luke LOVED except for the Halloween-decorated tunnel. It didn't seem to scare him too much the first time, but he was extremely anxious about it the second time. But after we survived the second trip through he was ready to go again!

Bowling
Luke is an absolute hoot to go bowling with. He throws the ball down the lane with two hands. And gets so excited when it comes back through the machine. Now, every time we pass the bowling alley, he begs to go bowling.
After he got a little tired, he agreed to use the ramp to help shoot the ball down. But he had to do it all by himself...

Luke's book of his favorite things
I made Luke a photo book of some of his favorite things (train, bus, firetruck, moon, LuLu, cousin Winky, airplane, LarryBoy, etc) - walmart.com photo has a really easy way to make a book for as little as $7!!
He LOVES his book and "reads" it all the time. One day I heard him say emphatically, "That's a happy picture" while looking at family photos. Awwwwww - how sweet! Of course, when I told MeMa about it, she asked him to show her the happy picture and he pointed to LarryBoy.

Busted
Luke came bouncing into the study chewing on something shortly before bedtime. I asked him "WHAT are you chewing on??!!" knowing full well Daddy must have given him a jelly bean. He knew he was busted because he just grinned and pulled his cheeks open with his fingers (like this photo, but tongue sticking out). Sugar before bedtime??!!! Daddy AND Luke know better....

I don't know why this makes me crack up, but Luke often answers various questions with "well... could be." Or "maybe later". Or "that's awesome!". Or "yeah, sure".
Today we saw a deer family eating by the side of the road, so we stopped and rolled down our window. Luke yells out the window "Hi deer!" and they all ran away.
